30-Day Facebook Challenge: Day 3

I am a television addict. I can watch television for 48 hours continuously, given there is food within reach. So, when it comes to choosing my favourite television show, I am in dilemma. How can I choose the best among the best? Glee, Amazing Race, Gossip Girl, CSI, House, The Biggest Loser, Chuck, Hannah Montana – The Series, Wipeout, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, That’s So Raven, How I Met Your Mother, and the list goes on and on. But, all this while, only one television show has been ringing in my head. TEEN TITANS. However old I grow, I would not forget this cartoon show. Even now, I can watch the series again and again even though I have watched it for thousand times. Today, I am supposed to post a picture of a cast from my favourite television show. I decided to post the picture of my all-time favourite cast from my all-time favourite television show. Presenting Raven, a gothic girl with complex personality.

30-Day Facebook Challenge: Day 2

Hey everyone! Today’s day 2! I’m supposed to post a picture of myself and the person I have been closest with the longest. Well, that’s a simple one. I know who I have been the closest with for the past 19 years. But, the only problem here is I couldn’t seem to be able to find a picture of all three of us together. I have to skim through my photo albums before I finally found one. This picture was taken last year during the semester break. These two persons have always been there in my life, either to save me from whatever big mistake I have done or to just have some fun. My life has been moulded by them, and I think that’s the reason why I am still able to hold on to myself. Thanks Manogaran and Tamilkodi for all the things you have done for me. You are the best parents that I can ever ask for. Red heart
day 2
With love,
Deepa.

Sri Lanka's Killing Fields by Channel 4 [Full video]

Today, my cousin brother asked me to watch this video. When I watched it, I just couldn't believe how brutal humans can be and how cheap humans' lives are to these people. The Sri Lankans say that they have won the war, but the truth is everyone loses in this war. They lose their dignity, humanity, and most of all, lives of innocent people. May God bless all the souls that have died in this war and justice to be served to those who deserve it.

First half.

A buzzing sound in my head. Ticking clock on the wall points its arms towards twelve. I looked away from the clock and realised that I am still laying down on the floor, eyes glued back to the colourful screen of Dell Inspiron. My fingers found their place on the keyboard and typed out the strings of letters floating away from my  mind. I was just reading through my blog just now, and I realised that I have a way long journey ahead of me to self-maturation. I have come this far in my life, and yet I am more childish than my younger sister. How shameful is that? I am so lazy to move my butt off the floor, but I guess I have to move it someday and keep moving forward. The first half of the year is way past than over, and it has been better than the best! I have explored the world of video editing as I always wanted to, enhanced my skills in shopping (now I can shop for A BILLION DOLLAR!), braced myself for food I would never have

How to rot during holidays?

“Every day is a new day!” Well, in my case, I’d say “every day is a bored day”. I’m practically rotting in front of my laptop, not knowing what to do. Since I’m becoming better and better in rotting, I decided to give some tips to you on how to rot during holidays. So here the list goes:-
1. Think about starting to blog. Even though you don’t know what to post, you’ll figure something out, just like me.
2. Update your laptop’s music library. NoteYou don’t want to listen to the same, old songs everyday, do you?

Scribble

Hey there! I've been lazing in my house for a week or two now. It has never been SO boring till now! Well, I have been watching Gossip Girl for a few days, and I have to say that the series is so damn ADDICTIVE! I have not been writing for a while now, so I just want to scribble something on the blog before I tune back to GG. So, bye!
