First half.

A buzzing sound in my head. Ticking clock on the wall points its arms towards twelve. I looked away from the clock and realised that I am still laying down on the floor, eyes glued back to the colourful screen of Dell Inspiron. My fingers found their place on the keyboard and typed out the strings of letters floating away from my  mind. I was just reading through my blog just now, and I realised that I have a way long journey ahead of me to self-maturation. I have come this far in my life, and yet I am more childish than my younger sister. How shameful is that? I am so lazy to move my butt off the floor, but I guess I have to move it someday and keep moving forward. The first half of the year is way past than over, and it has been better than the best! I have explored the world of video editing as I always wanted to, enhanced my skills in shopping (now I can shop for A BILLION DOLLAR!), braced myself for food I would never have
tried under normal circumstances, skipped a several classes in college (finally!!!Open-mouthed smile), and the list goes on and on. However, when I skim through the list, the maturity bell doesn’t ring to my ears (except for maybe volunteering myself in Somalian Teaching, travelling in the bus all alone the whole night'mare', and surviving through the application processes for university, residence, visa, etc.). Well, the first half of the year is all about simple and fun. Now, I have successfully wasted the first month of the second half of the year. I went for BTN camp for a week where I learned a lot about my beloved country, and where I have finally realised that however fantastic or crappy the people in the country can be, I Red heart Malaysia. I have also made a list of plans on how to survive in Toronto (it’s not complete yet). But apart from that, I did nothing but to watch Gossip Girl and update my status on my pathetic Facebook wall. I have also finally came to my senses and decided to update my blog. Embarrassed smileI feel ashamed for a few nonsense posts I put up on my blog lately. Oh, well. Five months more to go, and I’m going to spend four of those months in TORONTO!

So this is the city I’m heading to soon enough. I am very excited to go there and at least get a taste of maturity. More posts to come about my second half of the year. Till then, bye!
Signing off,
Deepa.
